Fitness Level: Generally fit. The furthest we will walk is 40 minutes from the car on relatively flat footpaths.
Photography Opportunities:
Step into the world of black and white infrared photography in the Norfolk Broads area, where landscapes have an ethereal quality with glowing foliage, deep dramatic skies, and striking contrasts. This workshop will take you to some fantastic locations that are perfect for crafting powerful monochrome infrared images.
Throughout the session, I’ll guide you on composing and exposing for infrared photography, whether you're using an infrared-converted camera or infrared filters. You’ll learn how to make the most of the infrared spectrum to create moody, high-impact black and white shots.
With a small group size, you’ll receive personalized photographic guidance to help you refine your infrared skills and develop your creative vision.
Essential Photography Kit:
✅ Infrared-converted camera or DSLR/CSC with infrared filters
✅ Batteries and memory cards (bring spares!)
✅ Wide-angle, mid-range, and zoom lenses
✅ Sturdy tripod
✅ Lens cleaning kit
✅ Camera bag
✅ Appropriate clothing for the weather
✅ Sturdy footwear
✅ Umbrella
📌 Note: If you're new to infrared photography, I’ll provide guidance on using filters and can offer recommendations for IR conversion and filter purchases before the workshop.
