Moray Coast and Surrounding Areas Autumnal Landscape Photo Tour - Morayshire | October 2025

Dates: Midday 20th till after sunrise 24th October 2025

Level of Fitness: Moderate - Maximum walking distance is 30/40 mins approx on footpaths with slight undulation.

Included: Tuition, as much or as little as you require - Accommodation (own room) - Transport during the workshop by minibus - Loan of filters and tripod if required.

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW:

Join me for an unforgettable photography experience based in the stunning region of Morayshire in the North East of Scotland. Offering the chance to photograph a variety of stunning rugged coastlines, golden beaches with mountains as backdrops, and fascinating woodland that will be full of the colours of autumn.

Accommodation: Indulge in the comfort of private rooms situated within a picturesque forestry lodge park, set within 28 acres of peaceful woodland. Our well-located self-catering accommodation offers convenient access to all the locations we plan to visit.

Locations planned to visit: We will have a variety of stunning locations on our doorstep including the famous Bow Fiddle Rock, multiple fishing villages with secluded coves that are filled with rock formations that offer multiple photographic opportunities, and if that was not enough there is the Dava Moor and its abandoned crofts and nearby forests with water passing through the ravines..

Transport: All transport is included in the price of the workshop, we will have the use of an 8-seater minibus for the duration of the tour and I will be able to collect you from Inverness airport or the train station.

Workshop Details: Upon arrival, we'll check in and immediately head out to capture the sunset and finish with a pub meal. Throughout the workshop, we'll embrace early mornings,  and conclude our photography sessions at sunset each day. On the departure day, if flight times permit, we'll seize the opportunity to capture one last stunning sunrise before making our way back to the airport.

Group Size: The workshop accommodates a maximum of 5 participants, ensuring personalized guidance and comfort whilst traveling between locations.

Booking: To secure your spot, either pay in full on the website or message me for my BACS details. Alternatively, you can secure a spot with a £150 deposit and the booking is confirmed upon payment. The remaining balance is due by July 31, 2025.

Additional Information: Please note that certain parts of our photography adventure may involve walking on unmade paths and working at heights from cliff tops. While we won't be scaling mountains during this trip, we recommend bringing suitable foul-weather clothing and footwear, as our workshop will proceed regardless of the weather conditions.

Insurance and Meals: Camera and personal insurance are not included in the workshop cost. Furthermore, the workshop fee does not cover meals. However, we will conveniently utilize a Tesco supermarket to prepare food for on-the-go, and evening meals together after sunset by using the full cooking facilities in each lodge.
