Starting midday Friday, we’ll kick off with a sunset shoot, followed by check-in at our accommodation and a cosy dinner at a local pub. Over the next two days, we'll experience dawn-to-dusk photography, exploring some of the most scenic locations in the Peak District. Our journey wraps up with a sunset session on the final day.

Accommodation is provided in a centrally located Airbnb, with each attendee having a private room. A discount is available for two people sharing a twin room—please inquire for details.

  • Sturdy footwear

I always have a spare set of landscape filters in the van in case anybody would like to borrow some. I am also happy to assist you with purchasing filters by recommending what works best in different scenarios.

Group Size, Fitness Level :

This small group session accommodates a maximum of 4 attendees plus myself making it a total of 5 people.

The fitness level is moderate - 20 min walks will be as far as we go, but there will be a lot of muddy paths and short steep inclines and we will be out photographing for the most part of the day

Booking:

The session is aimed at photographers who have at least a very basic understanding of the manual settings of the camera (Shutter speed, Aperture, ISO)
There will be plenty of assistance on hand at all times

Additional Information:

Certain parts of our trip will involve walking on unmade paths and working at heights from cliff tops. I fully recommend bringing suitable foul-weather clothing and very sturdy footwear, as our workshop will proceed regardless of the weather conditions.

Please do note that the area has some very steep footpaths that lead down to the more photogenic areas, so, as a result, you will need to be comfortable walking on unmade paths and with steep gradients, attendees' safety is always my 100% priority, no image is ever worth unnecessary risk.

What is not included:

  • Travel to and from the Peak District

  • Lunch, Dinner, Snacks

  • Personal and Camera Insurance

Cancellations:

Over 4 weeks before the event you will receive a full refund.
